Free-agent guard Damion Lee and the Phoenix Suns have agreed to a one-year contract, ESPN reported Friday.

Lee averaged 7.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and one assist across 63 games (five starts) in the regular season last year with the Golden State Warriors. He averaged 7.8 minutes through 16 games in the playoffs, putting up two points and 1.6 rebounds per contest. Lee's most productive season so far came in 2019-20, when he averaged 12.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

The 29-year-old made his debut with the Atlanta Hawks in 2018, starting 11 games. Lee, who is married to Steph Curry's younger sister Sydel, then joined the Warriors and concluded his recent three-year, $4.5 million deal by winning the 2022 NBA title.
