Fame And Philanthropy Post-Oscar Party

Being a parent is one of the most difficult and reward experiences that life has to offer.  However, being a step parent, a role that is often overlooked, can also be both challenging and rewarding.  For those struggling to come together in a blended family, it is often the small victories that count. Recently, actor Sean Penn showed the world that sometimes, being helping to parent someone else’s child isn’t a thankless job.  While attending the generationON West Coast Block Party with girlfriend, Charlize Theron, and her young son, Jackson, Penn got some great step-parent practice in.  Penn, who was photographed sharing some of his snow cone with the small boy, was the focal point of many in attendance as people watched the pair enjoy each other’s company.  Although Jackson had a snow cone of his own, his appeared to be a different flavor, and he probably wanted to try some of Penn’s.

Although Penn and Theron have been together for a little less than a year, things between the couple seem to be going well.  It’s also nice to see Penn, who has two adult children of his own, bonding with the little boy who could eventually become his step son.  Sean Penn may not have the friendliest face, and he also has a reputation for losing his temper when he gets irritated, but he seems to very comfortable with showing a softer side of himself.  In fact, a source close who was present during the event stated: “Sean is very clearly fond of Jackson and they were acting like a happy little family. They were like each other’s little buddies.”

Hopefully, Penn and Theron’s relationship will continue to grow, and there will be plenty of new picture of Penn and Jackson sharing some cute moments together.
